"As the Director of Operations for the Sheffield/Sheffield Lake City School District I have the responsibility of overseeing the building and grounds of our District. I meet with many contractors and vendors who supply us with products and services to keep our District up and running in an efficient and smooth manner.

Mr. Spacek and EPS have been involved in electrical upgrades throughout our District, including the most recent LED lighting upgrade, which will save the District some cost in energy consumption. We have also begun a relationship with Wilkes Plumbing & Heating, a subsidiary of EPS, and have contracted and completed a replacement of the hot water system at Brookside Intermediate School over our winter break without any issues, and are scheduled for a complete replacement of the boiler heating system at Knollwood Elementary over the summer with Wilkes. Additionally, we have begun working on a preventative maintenance program for the District, which I hope to have in place for the upcoming school year.

Mr. Spacek also was instrumental in the District getting back a substantial refund from First Energy for overcharges that he personally helped us obtain by investigating and consulting without a fee.
